In today’s world, it is more important than ever to secure your WiFi network. Hackers are constantly looking for ways to gain access to unsecured networks, and once they do, they can steal your personal information, install malware, or even take control of your devices.

- Choose a strong password. Your WiFi password should be at least 12 characters long and include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Use encryption. Encryption scrambles your data so that it cannot be read by unauthorized people. WPA2 is the most secure encryption protocol available.
- Set up a firewall. A firewall can help protect your network from unauthorized access.
- Keep your software up to date. Software updates often include security patches that can help protect your network from new threats.

Jacky is a network engineer at LA Networks specializing in wireless solutions. Over the course of her professional career, she has managed various types of enterprise wireless networks and troubleshooted many riveting Wi-Fi issues.
She discovered a passion for the technology and has recently got her CCNP certification in Enterprise wireless and is also an Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer. Her standard is to never design ‘bad’ Wi-Fi.
Yan Greben:
Yan is a systems engineer at LA Networks, with a special place in his heart for wireless technologies. Having spent time on both the customer side and the integrator side, he’s seen both good wireless and bad wireless deployments.
